Chanell Turner

I write about federal student loans at Tate Esq. — specifically the parts borrowers find hardest to navigate: income-driven repayment rules, PSLF qualifying-payment accounting, default rehabilitation and consolidation, and what actually happens when the government restarts wage garnishment.

Before this, I spent years writing about consumer finance for general audiences, which taught me that most financial advice online is either too vague to act on or too technical to read. My job here is to hit the middle — accurate enough that a student loan attorney will sign off on it, plain enough that a borrower can actually use it.
